Born and brought up in South Carolina, she finished her college education at Clemson University, and then went on to get an advanced master's degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Miami. Kelly dreamed of working in television from the time when she was young. She found the glamorous jobs TV offers to be both interesting as well as exciting. Following her graduation, Kelly started working as a production assistant for ACC Digital Network. When her studies ended and she was hired by ACC Digital Network as a production assistant and an intern. Then, she began working for Fox Sports Sun. Then she persevered and was promoted to a post at MLB Network, the largest sports news channel in America. She is currently employed by the network as a co-host of "The RUNDOWN", a popular show aired by the network. There is also a massive audience, and she stays in contact with them through her numerous social media platforms.
