Niykee's personal highlights include being hand-picked to join Snoop at the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013, and writing songs despite all the turmoil of the past few years. As a producer magnet, Niykee constantly sifts through the numerous beats delivered to her. She has found that the majority of them spark new song ideas. She claims that she is able to discern if a beat is good in just 5 seconds. And then, a brand new song may pop up in her head. My lyrics come to me whenever I'm outside on the patio, playing my guitar. It usually takes less than thirty minutes. Niykee has found that her experiences from her past provide an unending source of unexpected inspiration. It's difficult to escape the painful memories of my youth, especially losing my younger sister. The memories end up getting included in her songs. It influences my lyrics and gives them a deeper meaning. For me, this is the key to succeeding.
